Tuition and Tuition Assistance
We are grateful that you are considering Winnebago Lutheran Academy for your family. WLA is a private, Christian high school that strives to glorify God by equipping students with an excellent Christian education. We are driven by our desire to point students to the meaning of their lives, give them a sense of belonging in this family, and encourage them to live their purpose for the rest of their lives.
Educational costs can be overwhelming, but we are here to help make this investment attainable. While WLA’s actual cost of education per student for the 2023-24 school year is approximately $11,000 per student, we are thankful for our partners and supporters who help to make Christian education affordable for our families. Their support funds almost 20% of WLA students’ total cost of education, saving our families thousands of dollars.
In addition to that initial savings, assistance comes to families in multiple ways:
- Financial Aid at WLA
- Wisconsin Parental Choice Program (WPCP)
- Special Needs Scholarship Program (SNSP)
- Multiple Child Discount ($200 for second child for 2023-2024 school year)
- Transportation Subsidy ($12/mi for one-way distance from students residence outside Fond du Lac zip codes (54935-37)
- Tax Deduction for Private School Tuition
- RaiseRight (formerly the WLA Scrip Program)
“It’s very welcoming here, and everyone is just so happy for you to be here. All the teachers really know you really well.”
– Class of ‘21

[1] Tuition agreements for the 2023-24 school year will be sent to families in May via email through FACTS, WLA’s tuition management program. The agreement will include any credits applicable to your family.
Part of setting up your family’s tuition agreement is setting up a payment plan for the 2023-24 school year. Families have the option to pay in full by August 15th, pay by semester (half due in August and half in January), or pay monthly (August – May).
