Student Life at Winnebago Lutheran Academy

To supplement academics, athletics and fine arts, WLA has opportunities for students to connect in a wide variety of programs and extracurriculars that foster interpersonal and servant leadership skills.

At Winnebago Lutheran Academy, students are encouraged to grow in their individual God-given gifts and interests that exist beyond the classroom. Students at WLA are often involved in multiple extracurricular activities and clubs. Student athletes are often involved in the fine arts programs, schools clubs, and service activities. These opportunities provide our students with opportunities that enhance work and life skills.

Student Leadership, Clubs, and Activities

WLA’s student organizations encourage the development of leadership skills and student growth in service to their school, community, and their Savior. As students at WLA participate in a variety of clubs, organizations, and programs, they have the opportunity to discover lifelong passions.

Students show their school pride for Homecoming Week with the acclaimed Skit Night, they show their appreciation during our Veteran’s Day program, and sing along at the Christmas concerts, along with so many others!

Student Council

At Winnebago Lutheran Academy, student leadership is a foundational piece of our school’s culture. Elected class officers and student council members gain leadership, organizational, and communication skills as they plan and implement social events, the Freshmen Lock-Out, community service opportunities for our student body, the school cafe, and the mission offering.
